In 2006, I received the RARE GEMS AWARD from the Women’s Optimum Development Foundation for my contributions to humanity, service to women and children. I was honored in commemoration of International Women’s Day 2006. Award was presented by the late Nigerian Ambassador Chief Segun Olusola.

On November 19, 2015, I was honored with an award from the Migration & Refugee Services (MRS) of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of America. The award was presented to me by His Eminence Donald Cardinal Wuerl Archbishop of Washington DC. This wonderful award was given because my life story which exemplifies the mission of the Catholic Church and Migration and Refugee Services: to serve refugees seeking a place of safety and a chance to build a new life in the United States of America.
Institute for Patriotism Honors Change Agent Network for Patriotic Duty Promoting Education
On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, I was honored by The Liberian Institute for “Growing” Patriotism (LIGP) for the patriotic role I continued to play in building schools for the education of Liberians aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty through education across the country.
The ceremony, which took place in the hall of the AME University Graduate School in Monrovia, Liberia, was the Award of the Judge Emma Shannon Walser Medal for Rule of Law; Good Governance and Patriotism.
